STATE COLLEGE, Pa., May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – Growth in the number higher education jobs continued to moderate in Q1 2012, a trend that started to emerge mid-2011, but is still outpacing overall job growth. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The University of California’s Board of Regents on Wednesday weighed a possible tuition increase to close a major budget shortfall and named a new chancellor for UC San DiegoUC officials took no action after discussing ways to tackle a growing budget deficit caused by rising expenses and state budget cuts.
